Thanksgiving Week Preview

What a fun photoshoot this was. We drove down to Redlands, CA (the homeland of Celena) to spend a week with family. Celena’s little niece is a rather talented gymnast and we thought it would be fun to take pictures of her doing what she loves. This was also in preparation for a big day this week. When we were planning on coming down, we decided that we’d offer our photography services to the members of the gym and do mini-sessions where we can take pictures of some of the girls doing their routines and such. We thought it would be pretty fun and that a few people would want to do it…we ended up getting booked for seven hours straight. It ended up being a bit more popular than we’d thought.
We spent some time at the gym today to take pictures of Celena’s niece and had such a blast. We started with the intention of taking just a few cute pictures of her in the gym and ended up photographing her for about two hours. As you can tell from the pictures above, we had a lot of fun.
Our mini-session day is on Tuesday at Inland Empire Gymnastics Academy, so we’ll be sure to post a lot more then. Thank you Carly for being such a good sport today. We love you!

We had so much fun taking these family pictures for the Cummings. Their children are beautiful and have such cute personalities. We were fortunate to get a ton of great photos (these are merely a fraction of the pictures that we took). Thanks to the Cummings for letting us take their family pictures this year. Kaniela had such a fun day yesterday with his cousins. We went to McPolin Farm in Park City to have our family pictures taken by Kevin’s sister-in-law Ev (Little Wunders Photography). When we were done, we swapped and took some pictures of her family. We were reminded of an important lesson yesterday: when photographing children, time is of the essence. We wish we could have gotten more pictures of Kelii (Kevin’s brother) and Ev’s family but time was our enemy. It’s a good thing they’re all so photogenic and we were able to get these! Thanks Ev for taking our pictures and in all honesty being one of our biggest motivations in our own photography.

Meet the Timothy Family. We feel so lucky to have been able to take their family pictures this year. Amber is Celena’s cousin and we were so happy when she called and asked if we’d take these pictures. The Timothy children are so cute, very active and so much fun. We love you guys!

Friday night we were able to do a great photoshoot with two sisters and their families. Here is a sneak preview. Our weekend is pretty busy…we’re actually taking our own family photos…so we’re not sure if we’ll get to posting the rest of them for a day or so. Trust me though, you’ll want to see the other ones.
