Meet J.R. and Kim Mortensen. Kim was Kaniela’s nanny when he was first born. I think because of her, he’ll have a thing for blonde hair, fair skinned ladies the rest of his life: he absolutely loved her. Kim and J.R. asked us to come and photograph their wedding. We gladly packed up and went on a short road trip. They were married in the Albequerque, New Mexico Temple and had their reception in Sanford, CO. It was so much fun and we were so happy to be a part of their beautiful day. Aren’t they a beautiful couple? We love you both, and congratulations!

Personal family photos are the main reason why we took up the art. You’ll see a lot of pictures that we take of our small family “adventures”. These pictures were taken in San Francisco, Hawaii and Moab respectively. Someday we hope to be able to have more photos of our family from all over the world…we’ll see how that plays out for us…wish us luck!

Heidi and David are our friends from Venezuela and they were our son’s babysitters for a few months. We were so excited for the opportunity to do a photoshoot with them. They are such a fun and beautiful couple, and you might have imagined from the pictures, they are expecting their first child. We can’t wait to meet their little princess!
