We realize it’s a little late, but we’re posting anyways.  About a month ago we welcomed our second child.  As expected, we’ve got a lot of pictures of the little guy and will be posting more later.  Thanks to our sister-in-laws for helping us document the whole thing.

We wanted to wish everyone a Happy {late} Easter. Cea was in California last weekend; we decided to celebrate Easter a week late, so we could celebrate together. I hope you all had a great holiday. Kaniela enjoyed every moment of it.

P.S. If you’re wondering why there’s not candy in his basket, it’s because he got more than enough candy from his Aunties the week before!

Happy Easter and Spring!

We had so much fun with this photoshoot.  We had a little trouble getting our model to stay still and look at the camera (as you can tell from the pictures), however we captured so many fun pictures in the process.  Phoebe has grown up so much and we’re so happy that we got to take her photos.  Phoebe we love you and you’re getting so big!

So we have to apologize.  Up until a few days ago, we hadn’t posted for a few months.  That’s not to say that we weren’t busy taking pictures of friends and family that we love…we just didn’t have the energy to stay up until 2:00 AM to post like we normally do.  Either way, we wanted to ensure that we still got these beautiful faces up on our blog.  We may have posts in the future that are more extensive for each of these shoots, but no promises!  Hope you enjoy.

In November when were down in Redlands, we did a shoot with one of Celena’s childhood friends.  It was great to re-unite and chat with an old friend.

In December we got to shoot a wedding for a great friend!  Congrats to Enge and AJ.

In December, Celena’s brother and sister-in-law came to visit and asked us to take their pictures.  We love you Ho and Donna.  Alohas!

Did you know that John and Yoko are back?  Thanks to Spicer and his beautiful fiance Angel for letting us shoot these.  We love and miss you guys!

So…proof that we’ve still been busy despite our lack of posting.  Thanks to all of you who frequent our blog…it means more than you know – Kevin’s mood has a direct correlation with the positive or negative slope lines on our Google Analytics (how’s that for technical jargon…Kevin’s siblings would be proud).  Anyways, we love you all.  Come back again soon and visit.  Our blog and in person if you wish!

Congratulations to Cheri and Tylor on their engagement.  We were so happy to take these pictures.  Tylor is Kevin’s cousin and when he called to ask if we’d take their pictures we were ecstatic.  Tylor and Cheri met at Brigham Young University and will be getting married this summer.  They came with so many fun ideas for the photoshoot and we were happy to oblige.  They really made taking pictures of them very easy.  Thank you Cheri and Tylor for such a fun photoshoot.

So we need to apologize for not diligently posting like we used to.  We promise that we’ll be more consistent.  One of the reasons we’ve been so busy (aside from the New Year, resolutions, our son turning 2, family get togethers, work, etc.) is that we’ve been preparing for the arrival of our second child *applause* *laughter* *shouts of joy*.

Being the cute mother that she is (and the great artist), Celena decided that she wanted to take these pictures when she was 20 weeks along (half way through).  She struggled getting Kevin to vision the shot she wanted, but she was extremely patient.  As we were taking these pictures, our cute little Kaniela decided that he needed to join in.  The picture with his little hand was completely random and we’re so grateful for the continuous shooting features of our camera and Kevin’s lightning fast reflexes.  However, Kaniela kissing baby took a little bit of coaching.  Needless to say, we’re pretty excited about the coming addition to the Kukui Studio family.  We can’t wait to plaster his cute little mug all over this photoblog.

We know.  It’s been a long time since our last post.  Much apologies, however we’ve been busy (more to come on that later).  We just did an engagement photo shoot with Tylor and Cheri in Provo.  Here are some previews.  There are much more to come later!

We absolutely loved taking these senior portraits for Jessica.  Jes is Celena’s niece and it’s really hard for us to think that she’s graduating this year.  This was one of the photoshoots that we did when we were down in Redlands for Thanksgiving.

Jes…we’re so proud of you and you’ve really grown up to be a beautiful young women.  Thanks for letting us take these pictures of you.
